The Gardener

He patiently plants each one
In rows both short and long
Each in it’s place
Just as it should
Belong
Perfect

Ne’er will perfection come
Though he try all night through
There may be one
There may be a few
Different
Beautiful

The good gardener cares
For each plant and each row
For flowers that grow
Fruit down below
Planned
Or not

He blames not the soil he found
Nor nature her Bonnie crown
For God’s plan
Beyond ones ken
Times
Everything
